Students had the opportunity to bring their favorite teddy bear or other stuffed animal to school to spend the day in class learning and playing with them. One activity they did together was playing math games and eating teddy grahams. When it was time for the students to go home, the teddy bears got to stay and have a slumber party at school. The next day when the students came to school they found out that their animals had made a mess in their learning centers.

February is National "Love the Bus" Month! To honor the drivers who transport our students to and from school the students gave them a special Valentine on Valentine's Day to show their appreciation for all they do. The Love the Bus program is celebrated on Valentine’s Day and throughout February in school districts across the country as a way to raise awareness and appreciation for the hundreds of thousands of school bus drivers who safely transport children to and from school each day.
