Brockbank Staff Spotlights!

This weeks spotlights are Mrs. Alexandra Dedrickson and Mr. Tim Horn. Mrs. Alexandra Dedrickson teaches fifth grade at Brockbank. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork. They have three daughters and one son (two of her daughters are married). Her son, Garrett is in her fifth-grade class this year. Alexandra likes shopping, cooking, cleaning, and gardening. Some of her favorites are the colors black and tan, chocolate, diet coke, Mary Higgins Clark books, the movie, "My Best Friends Wedding", and eating at Cafe Rio. Alexandra enjoys watching the SFHS Drill Team and any sport her son is playing. Her favorite vacation destination is to go to Las Vegas. Something no one knows about her is that she enjoys spending time at Dillard's, Rod Works, Target and Wiggy Wash!! Alexandra has been teaching for 28 years most of those years here at Brockbank but she also taught for several years at Brookside. She has taught first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades and for nine years she helped students as a reading recovery teacher. She is a great teacher and so fun to work with! Mr. Tim Horn works with students as a STAR tutor. He lives in Spanish Fork. Tim likes playing sports, camping, fishing, learning languages, playing guitar, cello and bass, and just hanging out with friends. Some of his favorites are the color blue, peanut butter cups, vanilla coke, carne asada (authentic Mexican thinly sliced, grilled beef served in tacos and burritos), the song "Cracks" song by Flux Pavilian , the movie, "Remember the Titans", the book, "Last of the Breed" by Louis L'Amour, and eating at Mi Rancherito. Tim likes watching the Chicago Blackhawks (hockey), San Diego Chargers (football) and Real Salt Lake (soccer). Tim's favortie vacation destination is to go San Diego. Something he said no one knows about him is that he loves to dance! Tim is currently on his second year as a STAR tutor before coming to Brockbank he served a LDS Spanish speaking mission in the Alabama Birmingham Mission. Tim has been a great addition to our staff and we really enjoy having him here!
