Submitted by brenda.johnson on

Brockbank celebrates students' birthdays in a super way this year. When it is a student's special day, he/she comes to the office and selects a book out of Pricipal Alison Hansen's basket of books. Students love choosing a book of their own and Mrs. Hansen enjoys signing each book and wishing each child a happy birthday. Funds for the books have come from hosting such successful book fairs each year. Our next book fair runs Oct 22 through Oct 28 with a special kick-off Dads & Donuts on Oct 22 at 7:40 am.

Submitted by brenda.johnson on

Brockbank PTA along with Brockbank faculty recently held their fifth annual walk-a-thon fundraiser. It was a great success with lots of support from the students and parents. Students, along with many of their parents, walked laps around a track set up on the grass field as a way to exercise and raise money for the school. The funds will purchase projectors and document cameras for classrooms. The school currently has three classrooms set up with projectors and document cameras, and their goal is to equip every classroom with those items.
