Thursday, Sept 13, fourth grade students participated in a storm water presentation. They learned all about the "villains" that we put into out storm drains, and how they affect our clean drinking water. They also learned ways to help keep our water clean.

The students took turns adding some of those villains to our drinking water. Some villains include oil, grass clippings, gas, paint, soap, and fertilizer. In the end, we had "Pollution Punch". Students were encouraged to remind their parents of steps they can take to help keep our drinking water clean.   If you have a fourth grader ask them about some of these villains, and how you can do your part to help prevent water pollution!
