Recently, representatives from the Nebo Title VI Indian Education program came and presented to fourth grade. They taught them about life as a Native American, the contributions they have made to our lives today, and showed us some cool artifacts.

Today was Brockbank's 1st official "Spirit Day", Bucky was here to help celebrate! Students are encourage to wear their Brockbank t-shirts, sweatshirts,  or school colors on Fridays to show their school spirit. 

Brockbank Elementary picture day is Monday, September 25, 2023.

ALL students will get their picture taken this day, regardless of whether or not you order a packet - we want all of our kids in their class picture.

Younger siblings can come between 12:30 to 1:00 pm to get their picture taken.

5th grade got to see science in action Wednesday when Mrs. Jones brought in some of her bees for the students to observe!

Discovery Gateway came and did a science experiments with our 5th graders on Tuesday, September 5th. They discussed States of Matter, making a hypothesis, and questioning. The students were able to engage in experiments and decided if the experiments were chemical or physical reactions. They students were engaged and learned a lot.

In Kindergarten, Mrs. Farr's class learned about Oceans, Pirates, and Sea Animals. They read the story of the Rainbow Fish and talked about the importance of sharing and being kind with our words and actions. For their Friday Fun Day activity they had turtle races. They listened to the story of The Tortoise and the Hare and talked about winning and losing and not giving up, even when a task is hard. They also talked about being a good sport and how it is important to cheer our friends on when they are trying to reach a goal.

All of us at Brockbank were so honored to have the Assistant Superintendent Ben Ford visit our school! He walked through the halls and visited classrooms. We want to thank him for taking time out of his busy schedule to come and visit us!
