Brockbank School is pleased to announce Mrs. RaDawn Anderson as the recipient of the 2012-13 Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award. RaDawn has taught school for 27 years - one year in kindergarten, 24 years in second grade, and 2 years in fourth grade. RaDawn makes learning enjoyable. Students know she cares about them and she expresses genuine affection for all kids in every situation even when if one has tested her patience. In her spare time she likes to bike, golf, hike, swim, travel, and read. She is learning to play tennis and it has been said she has a great serve. RaDawn began driving young, she wrecked her dad's car when she was five years old! She loves Dove chocolate and listens to the group U2. Principal Alison Hansen said, "Radawn Anderson is one the funnest (and funniest) people I know. She is a pleasure to be around and a pleasure to work with. RaDawn knows when to "get down to business" and when to lighten things up. I am delighted to call her a colleague." RaDawn has three children and lives with her husband, Dale in Provo. Congratulations Radawn for being this years Crystal Apple Award winner!
