Brockbank Spotlights this week are Mrs. Whitney Munns and Curtis Harrison.

Mrs. Whitney Munns teaches third-grade at Brockbank. She shares a class with Mrs. Linda Argyle and teaches in the afternoon. She and her husband live in Salem and have one baby daughter, Macie. Whitney likes reading, running, and just being outdoors. Some of her favorites are the color light blue, Sour Patch Watermelon (or any flavor that is sour), singer Carrie Underwood, the movie, "Sweet Home Alabama", eating at Texas Road House, gymnastics and football. Her favorite teams are the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Whitney's favorite vacation destination would be Hawaii. Something she said no one knows about her is that she was a gymnast for 15 years and traveled across the country competing! Cool! Before coming to Brockbank Whitney taught one year at Eastlake Elementary in the Jordan School District. She is currently on her second year at Brockbank and we are glad to have her. Whitney's bright smile and calming nature fits perfectly with our staff!

Curtis Harrison is our new substitute sweeper. Curtis lives in Spanish Fork. He likes listening to music, watching movies, reading, literature, history, and cooking. Some of Curtis' favorites are the color red, Snickers, the movie, "Moonrise Kingdom", eating at Red Robin, the song, "This Charming Man" by the English band the Smith's, bowtie pasta, and Coke. He enjoys watching soccer and his team is the Manchester United. Curtis would love to go to London, England for his vacation destination. Something no one knows about him is that he can recite facts like no one else. Before coming to Brockbank, Curtis said he sold Cutco knifes. We are happy to have Curtis on our staff and hope that everyone will make him feel welcome as they see him cleaning our school!
