Brockbank Staff Spotlight

This week Brockbank is spotlighting Mrs. Susan Johnson and Mrs. Kandra Steinfeldt. Mrs. Susan Johnson is a speech therapist at Brockbank. She and her husband live in Springville and have two sons and three daughters (only one is still at home). Susan likes gardening, fitness, running, tennis, hiking, kayaking, sailing, reading and especially spending time with her family. Some of her favorites are the color purple, M&M's, chips & salsa, nachos, the Utah Jazz, movies - "Blind Side" & "Hitch", listening to the Beatles and James Taylor, and eating at the Bombay House. In her spare time Susan follows the 2012 Campaign for President, would love to go to the Caribbean, and is active in her church callings. Something Susan said no one knows about her is that one summer break from college she was a cook on 60 foot sailboat in the Bahamas! Susan has been a speech therapist at Brockbank for the past eight years; before coming to Brockbank she was a stay at home mom! It is a pleasure having Susan as part of our staff and with her tennis talents we look forward to another successful after-school tennis program this year! Mrs. Kandra Steinfeldt is a special education technician in Mrs. Alyson Tobler's class. Kandra and her husband live in Spanish Fork and have two sons and one daughter. She likes quilting, sudoku, reading, playing the piano, camping, riding 4 wheelers, fishing, and just being in the outdoors. Kandra is a BYU football fan which is surprising since her favorite color is red. Some of her other favorites are chocolate, mashed potatoes, the movie, "Somewhere in Time", the book, "Love You Forever", listening to Supertramp's song, "Take the Long Way Home", and eating at Good Wood. Her favorite vacation destination would be Hawaii! Something Kandra said no one knows about her is that her and her baby boy were once featured on the news! Who knew she was a celebrity. Kandra has been at Brockbank for the past five years and before that she was a planning time technician at Park for 5 years, 2 years as a reading tutor, and 1 year at Riverview in the pre-school. Students in Miss Alyson Tobler's class love having Mrs. Steinfeldt in their classroom and we love having her as part of our staff!
