Brockbank fifth-grade students learning Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) training taught by Officer Bryan DeWitt of the Spanish Fork Police Department, recently got to participate in an activity. The activity was on the potential dangers of being intoxicated and it's effects on the person's reflects, judgement, and overall ability to do simple tasks. The students were given goggles to wear that simulate being under the influence and asked to ride a scooter through cones and kick a ball. It was a great activity enforcing what they are learning in class.
