Hello, Brockbank Families!

I hope you enjoyed the beautiful day today!  It was so nice to see blue skies, sunshine, and red-rosey cheeks on our cute students!

We have a lot going on in January, so please read carefully and make notes of the following items:

SEP Conferences will be this Thursday, January 14th.  We have many slots still opened and TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR A TIME TO MEET WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER.  PLEASE sign up tonight for a time, but if you are unable to do so, please call the office and Mrs. Johnson will help you get signed up.  Go to the school website and there will be links for you to sign up for conferences.  Look over the list of links so you will know where to sign up. We are happy to help you in any way we can.

We are scheduling another robotics class for 4th-6th graders.  If your child is interested in this after school class please register him/her at the office.  The cost of the class is $30.00.

We are asking for your help!  We are looking for parents who could help with math in a few different classes to help students get ready for year-end testing.   If you are interested and willing to help there will be sign up sheets in the office during SEP conferences.

We appreciate all your support with the Boxtops!  We have had great response and this month we want to have a little different challenge!  This month we are working as grade levels to see who can bring in the most!

We are excited to announce the Nebo School District Chess Tournament.  This will be Saturday January 23rd, at Art City Elementary.  It is for grades Kindergarten-6th grades.  Check in will be from 8:00-8:30 and then will begin at 9:00.  It is $8.00 and you will need to register and pay by Jan. 13th.  After that price goes up to $15.00 until Jan. 21.  There are flyers in the office with detailed information.

Attached is a letter from our school nurse, Aubrey Jolley.  It's a reminder about keeping our children healthy, here at school.

Just a reminder that there will be no school Friday, January 15th because of a district development day, and also Monday, January 18th because of Martin Luther King Day.

Thanks for all that you are doing to help our school!  Brockbank is the best!

Mrs. Nelson
