October 16, second grade students went on a field trip to the Scera Center of the Arts and watched the play "Junie B. Jones: The Musical". It was a  delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park’s best-selling books, brought to life in a genuinely comical  musical about sassy little diva Junie B. Jones! Students really enjoyed the play!

Third Grade Students Plant Tulip Bulbs

Representatives from Thanksgiving Point's outreach program came to visit with third-grade students.  The Tulip Journey North science program teaches observation skills and about being a scientist. Students learned about living and nonliving things using hands-on activities. The students were able to dissect tulip bulbs and help make a class terrarium, so they can practice their observation skills throughout the year. Students then had the opportunity to plant a tulip bulb in the front of the school.
