Welcome to Brockbank
Mission Statement
Write a kind message to a student, teacher, technician, custodian, parent or anyone else. Then we will all be able to see it at our school. Let's spread the kindness! (messages are on the televisions around the school).
Shelley Thomas is Awarded the Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award for Brockbank
Shelley Thomas is this year's recipient of the Crystal Apple Award. This is a special award because teachers vote on who should receive the award at each school - it is always humbling to be recognized by peers.
Veterans Visit Brockbank!
Friday, November 8, Brockbank Elementary had some very special visitors come to our school to honor Veteran's Day. We are so proud of all of our veterans and enjoy having them come and talk to us each year. The program consisted of the fifth-grade students singing a patriotic song, a slide show presentation, and each of the veterans introducing themselves and talking to the students. It was a very touching assembly reminding us all why veterans are so important and about all the sacrifices that they have made for us so that we can be free.
Brockbank Staff Spotlight!
Brockbank is happy to spotlight Mrs. Cheryl Beutler. Cheryl is new to our school this year, she transports lunches for the students and helps serve them their lunches. She and her husband live in Mapleton and have four daughters. Cheryl likes to organize things, zumba dance, and spend time with her family. Some of her favorites are the color green, chocolate, Cherry Coke, softball, any music except rap, mystery and suspense books, the movie, "Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings", and eating at Joe Banditos. Her favorite vacation destination is Disneyland.

Brockbank First-Graders Enjoy Field Trip to Cornbelly's
Tuesday, October 29, the first-grade students at Brockbank Elementary spent the day at Cornbelly's Corn Maze at Thanksgiving Point. They enjoyed all the activities learning about farming and agriculture. The first-graders enjoyed bouncing on the jumping pillows, the "big" rocking chair, riding on the hay wagon, but especially liked walking through the corn maze. Each of the students got a small pumpkin to bring back with them. It was a fun day! Brockbank first-grade students and their teachers really appreciate the Herbst family for allowing them to come and enjoy the day!
