Hello, Brockbank Families!

 

We are down to just the last couple of weeks of school.  It is pretty unbelievable that we are almost finished with another great year!  Thanks for your help and support with our end of year testing.  We finish up this week and  we are glad to have it behind us!

Rebecca Jensen Receives Horace Mann Classified Award for 2017

Rebecca Jensen recently received the Horace Mann Classified Award for 2016-17. Rebecca has worked at Brockbank for the past seven years. She has been a PTA mom, a substitute teacher, planning time computer technician, recess duty supervisor, and most recently the librarian. Rebecca has done a wonderful job this year as librarian and is always prepared and willing to go the extra mile! She works hard to keep the library running smoothly. She researches and knows the ins and outs of what is up and coming, such as overdrive and what new projects are coming into the district.

Brockbank Second Grade Students Enjoy Farm Field Day

Brockbank second-graders went on a Farm Field Day held at Harward Farms in Springville. Farm Field Days is sponsored by the Farm Bureau and allows second-graders to see how a farm works and to learn about different things in agriculture. First they got to see a sheep be sheared and then the students split up and went to different stations where they got to sit on over turned buckets.

Brockbank Students Participate in Super Stars Track Meet

May 4, Brockbank students in Ms. Kristi Jensen's class participated at Maple Mountain High School in the Super Stars Track Meet. There were almost 260 students from every elementary school in the Nebo School District that got to be track stars for the day. Students participated in the 50, 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes, wheel chair dash, short jump, long jump, and baseball throw. All participants received a medal and T-shirt. 

 

Brockbank Kindergartners Perform Program for Parents

On Friday, April 28, kindergarten students at Brockbank Elementary entertained their parents and grandparents with a fun program. They showed them what they have learned this year by each student memorizing a small speaking part and by singing songs. The students worked really hard practicing and performing this program and all of them did a great job!

Hello, Brockbank Families!

 

It is amazing that May is here!  Time has flown by and I can hardly believe that this is our last month of school!  There are many things to look forward to.  Please read the bulletin and check the calendar closely.  We have had a few changes in our schedules.  Please also check the website to get updates and other information.
