Brockbank Second Graders Eat Dr Seuss Soup
Second grade students in Mrs. Larina Quispe's class made Dr. Seuss soup in celebration of Dr. Seuss' Birthday. They read "Hop on Pop" and added popcorn to their soup. Later they read, "Green Eggs and Ham" and added candy eggs. They then read, "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" and added fish crackers. Last they read "Sneetches" and put in gummy bears. At the end of the day they watched "Cat in the Hat" and ate their delicious soup.
Brockbank Book Fair is Coming
Brockbank is excited about our upcoming Book Fair which will kick off this Friday, March 10 with our annual Dads and Donuts! Make sure to bring your dad, mom, grandpa, grandma or any special family member on Friday morning from 7:30-8:30 AM to browse through the book fair and enjoy a donut. The book fair will run the following week March 13-16 before school, during lunch, and after school and all evening Thursday night during SEP conferences. The book fair will close Thursday evening.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!! To celebrate, students wore crazy socks. Principal Larraine Nelson went to each grade and read a Dr. Seuss book to the students. She read, "Fox in Socks!" The students really enjoyed having their principal read a book to them! Also the end of the day students sat in the hall and read books.
Brockbank Students Motivated to Read by Champions Rodeo Reading Challenge
Spanish Fork is hosting the 2017 Wrangler Champions Challenge Rodeo for the fourth year on Saturday, June 3 at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. To help promote the rodeo and at the same time to encourage students to read, the city is offering a Champions Challenge Reading Contest. Bull fighter, Kevin Higley, Miss Rodeo Utah 2017, McKenna Hales, along with city officials came to Brockbank to entertain the students in a fun assembly and get them excited to read.
Brockbank Fourth Grade Teacher Receives Grant
The Nebo Education Foundation meets each month at 7:00 a.m. to discuss submitted educational grants for students in Nebo School District. One of the goals of the foundation is to fund worthwhile projects in the district that provide resources to enrich student learning.
