Brockbank Halloween Fun!
Brockbank Elementary celebrated Halloween by having their annual parade around the school. The weather was wonderful and students had the opportunity to show off their costumes to parents, grandparents, and other students. Also to help celebrate room parents came to the school and hosted some fun holiday activities, and brought yummy treats to the classrooms.

Brockbank First-Graders Enjoy Field Trip to Cornbellys!
Tuesday, October 9, the first-grade students at Brockbank Elementary spent the day at Cornbelly's Corn Maze at Thanksgiving Point. They enjoyed all the activities learning about farming and agriculture. The first-graders especially enjoyed bouncing on the jumping pillows and the "big" rocking chair. Each of the students got a small pumpkin to bring back with them. It was a fun day! Brockbank first-grade students and their teachers really appreciate the Herbst family for allowing them to come and enjoy the day!

Brockbank Fifth-Graders Enjoy D.A.R.E.!
Tuesday, October 23, Brockbank fifth-grade students to go along with the D.A.R.E. program taught by Officer Bryan DeWitt, got to go outside and see Officer DeWitt's patrol car. They got to see all the equipment that he uses to do his job. He showed them how some of it works and how he uses it in his job. The students in their D.A.R.E. class have been learning about drugs and ways to avoid the many influences in their lives that might lead them down dangerous paths. Students have really learned a lot and are looking forward to graduating from D.A.R.E.
