Last week kindergarten students talked about apples and how to be a good friend. They had apple snacks. They tasted apples with caramel and sprinkles, apple oat bars, apple sauce, and apple juice. They read Apple Books and did lots of activities centered around apples. Mrs. Porter and Mrs. Farr discovered they have matching Apple shirts!
Nebo School District’s 9th Annual Elementary Keyboarding Competition was held recently for 5th grade students in the district. Students were tested by their school's keyboarding specialist to qualify to participate, in order to qualify they had to be able to type 50+ wpm.
At Brockbank we have a program where deserving students earn "Bronco Best" cards. Students earn this honor by being their BEST at Brockbank! They are doing their BEST when they are: Building a community that cares, Engaging in lifelong learning, Setting goals for growth and success, and Taking ownership for their actions.
