Hello, Brockbank Families!

We had such a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week last week! Our fantastic PTA made us feel so special and we all feel that Brockbank is the happiest place on earth!

Thanks to Ali Stewart and Cammi Baum for all they did to make this an extra special week for our staff. Thanks also to all those who decorated doors and helped in so many ways! Thanks so much!

Year-End Testing

We have begun our year-end testing in grades 3-6. Students in grades K-2 will begin testing on or before April 23rd. I encourage you to please make sure your child gets enough rest, a good breakfast, and is here at school on time. If your child is going to be absent, please make sure your child's teacher is aware of the dates your child will be gone. If you have any questions about the tests your child will be taking, please come in and visit with me. Opt out forms are available but not encouraged.

Champion's Reading Challenge

The Diamond Fork Riding Club is sponsoring a reading challenge for our students! Those students that meet their grade level reading goal for the month of April will be able to put their name into a drawing where they may be drawn out for rodeo tickets and Justin Cowboy boots. We appreciate the Diamond Fork Riding Club for helping our students value reading and know the importance of opening up a book! Please help your child keep track of his/her reading and encourage him/her to READ!

Kindergarten Field Trip

Just a note for our Kindergarten students' parents: The field trip that was planned for Discovery Park has been changed to another park in Orem. The field trip will still be the same date-April 29th. Please contact Mrs. Farr or Ms. Putnam if you have any questions or concerns.

PTA Carnival Family NIght

Please mark your calendar for May 6th for the PTA Carnival Family Night! This will be a fun night for families to come and enjoy time together! There will be food, bounce houses, games and lots more!

Kindergarten Registration Update

There has been a change with Kindergarten Registration! We will NOT be having an early pre-registration for kindergarten as we have in the past. Kindergarten Registration will be at the same time as our regular registration for all students that is normally done in the summer. More information with this announcement will be coming.

District Track Meets

Here are the dates of upcoming Track Meets:

4/23-3rd Grade

4/30-4th Grade

5/7-6th Grade

5/14-5th Grade

On the day of the track meets, students will walk to the Spanish Fork High School football field and will sit in the bleachers. We will provide a shade tent for the section where they will sit. Please send your child in appropriate clothing-dressed for any kind of weather-with good running shoes. They will also need water and a hat/cap to shade their faces. Please make sure your child has sunscreen as well. Parents are welcome to come! Please make sure you are sitting on the football field and out of the way of the finish line.

BOX TOPS

Please keep collecting your BOX TOPS! Bring them in to help our school out!

Math Lab

Parents, in the mornings at 8:30, we have two wonderful ladies that are here to tutor students in math! If you feel your child could use extra help with homework, please send him/her in the mornings to our math lab, located in the library!

Please keep collecting your Box Tops!
