Wednesday, May 8th fifth grade students had the opportunity to attend and participate in the Freedom Walk held at the Canyon View Park. It was hosted by Spanish Fork's American Legion. Veterans from each of the branches were represented and told stories about their experiences to the students. This event was a great experience for the students to get a better understanding and appreciation for the Flag and the sacrifices made by everyone who has served in the military.

Brockbank fourth graders went on a field trip to This Is The P

Brockbank second-graders went on a Farm Field Day held at Harward Farms in Springville. Farm Field Days is sponsored by the Farm Bureau and allows second-graders to see how a farm works and to learn about different things in agriculture. First they got to see a sheep be sheared and then the students split up and went to different stations where they got to sit on overturned buckets.

We are so happy for RaDawn Anderson, Debbie Chandler, and Jack Putnam on their upcoming retirement! We are going to miss them here at Brockbank but wish them the best!

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days is sponsoring the 2024 Fiesta Day Reading Challenge to all Spanish Fork elementary students. To encourage students to read, Spanish Fork City promotes a Rodeo Reading Challenge. The goal is for students to read! Students that met their reading goal for the month of April got his/her name put in a drawing where one student from each grade won two tickets to attend the Fiesta Days Rodeo. 

Celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Day - Tuesday, May 7th, any purchases done through the McDonald's app from 5-8pm will grant 20% of the purchase to our school district. We appreciate McDonalds for this awesome support to education. Tuesday is a great day for a Happy Meal!

At Brockbank we have a program where deserving students earn "Bronco Best" cards. Students earn this honor by being their BEST at Brockbank! They are doing their BEST when they are: Building a community that cares, Engaging in lifelong learning, Setting goals for growth and success, and Taking ownership for their actions.

Brockbank's Natalie Nuttall was honored with Teacher of the Month sponsored by Central Bank in the My Community Spanish Fork magazine. She is so deserving of this award! Congratulations! 

ExxonMobil is fueling young minds and helping create aha moments through the Educational Alliance. It’s part of their ongoing effort to support science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education within the communities they serve. 40 million in contributions, with 3,200 schools supported nationwide have recieved 500 hundred donations to support STEM Through their partnership with the Educational Alliance, they help give students the tools and technology they need to connect what they learn in the classroom with what they see in the real world.
