Hello, Brockbank Families!

Three more days until the official holiday fun can begin!  It is such a wonderful time of the year and today we were able to celebrate this holiday season by singing Christmas songs together as a student-body!  There is nothing that warms my heart more, that to listen to children sing!  It’s the best!

Monday, December 19, Brockbank's employees met in the library for a Christmas Ugly Sweater Party! Yummy food was eaten, fun games played, pictures taken, white elephants exchanged, lots of laughing, and a fun time had by all that came! It was a fun way to relieve the stress of the coming holidays by getting together and enjoying each others company! Brockbank has a great faculty and staff! Thanks to everyone on the committee for all their hard work in making it such a fun party!

Brockbank First-Graders Read Turkey Trouble

Submitted by brenda.johnson on

Brockbank first-graders finished reading the book, "Turkey Trouble" written by Wendi J. Silvano. In the story a turkey is in trouble, bad trouble, it is almost Thanksgiving and he is the main course. Farmer Jake is looking for him. Turkey has an idea what if he doesn't look like a turkey? What if he looks like another animal instead? First-graders then got to use their imaginations and pick a disguise for Turkey so Farmer Jake won't recognize him.

Fourth-grade students at Brockbank Elementary celebrated their Utah Heritage with a pioneer program. Students dressed in pioneer/cowboy attire sang and danced like the pioneers did so many years ago. Parents were then invited to dance with their student for some fun square dancing. It was a fun evening and everyone enjoyed themselves!
