Turkey Trouble

Brockbank first-graders recently finished reading the book, "Turkey Trouble" written by Wendi J. Silvano. In the story a turkey is in trouble, bad trouble, it is almost Thanksgiving and he is the main course. Farmer Jake is looking for him. Turkey has an idea what if he doesn't look like a turkey? What if he looks like something different instead? First-graders then got to use their imaginations and pick a disguise for Turkey so Farmer Jake won't recognize him

Mcray Wride picked a farmer for his turkey. He said, "I could be a farmer. I can drive the tractor. "Howdy Partner" said the turkey. "Oh!" said the farmer. "It must be a farmer."

Briggs Zeeman picked a Santa for his turkey. He said, " I can be a Santa. I can bring presents on Christmas". "Ho Ho, Ho Ho," said the turkey. "Oh!" said the farmer. "It must be a Santa."

Colt Pennington picked a hunter for his turkey. He said, "I could be a hunter. I can shoot big animals," I hit it! I hit it! " said the turkey. "Oh!" said the farmer. "It must be a hunter."
