Spanish Fork Fiesta Days is sponsoring the 2023 Fiesta Day Reading Challenge to all Spanish Fork elementary students. To encourage students to read, Spanish Fork City promotes a Rodeo Reading Challenge. The goal is for students to read! Students that met their reading goal for the month of April got his/her name put in a drawing where one student from each grade won two tickets to attend the Fiesta Days Rodeo.
Out of those students, 2 lucky students were drawn to receive not only the 2 rodeo tickets but a pair of Justin boots, a pair of wrangler jeans. and a cowboy hat. Brockbank students read a total of 166,962 minutes for the month of April! Way to go!
Lucky grade winners were; kindergarten Jaxton Clarke, first grade -William Waite, second grade - Stran Taylor, third grade - Laney Pennington, fourth grade - Hazel Hudson, and fifth grade - Janie Walburger. Out of those students the boot, jeans and hat winners were Laney Pennington and Janie Walburger. Also each year they choose a couple of administrators and give them 2 tickets to the rodeo.
