3rd grade "Playing" parts of speech!
Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives.....we found them and played them with different instruments! As part of the BTS Arts program, all the third grade classrooms had the chance to have a "parts of speech" concert. Mrs. Creer's class used the lyrics to "Mary Had a little Lamb", and played bells, sticks, triangles, castanets, and egg shakers on the different parts of speech. Some of the classes also got to apply their knowledge and change some of the words to the tune - just ask Mrs. Bird's class about how "Jeffrey had a smelly horse", or ask Mrs. Karri's class about how they decided to "push, push, push a scooter slowly down the dance floor" :) It was too fun!
