Mrs. Carolyn Creer is this year's recipient of the Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award. Carolyn teaches third grade here at Brockbank. Carolyn and her husband live in Spanish Fork and have two sons, one daughter, and one son in law. Carolyn has been teaching for 33 years, she has been at Brockbank for the past 21 years and before that she taught 12 years at Brookside in Springville.
Mrs. Amanda Reynolds and Mrs. Abbie Karri write about Carolyn; "Carolyn deserves this award more than anyone this year! She has been our rock in this trying year. Constantly giving us encouragement and sharing her wisdom in teaching. She’s taught us to not sweat the small stuff! Carolyn is an amazing teacher! She truly loves her students and teaches in a way that kids like to learn. Anytime I walk past her room her students are actively learning by moving around and talking with their peers. She’s an amazing teacher and an ever better friend!! We love you!"
