Brockbank just finished up another successful year of peer tutoring by having a party. Brockbank has ran a peer tutoring program for several years where kindergarten students benefit from being paired with a sixth grade student for peer tutoring. The sixth-grade tutors undergo training with our literacy specialist on the basics of emerging reading skills and then are paired with a kindergarten buddy. Both kindergarten and sixth grade students enjoy forming new friendships and learning new skills together.
