Wednesday, October 16, for Red Ribbon Week students wore purple to represent that, "Brockbank Students Stand United Against Violence". Teachers reinforced the importance to students of being violence free. Today's gift for the classroom drawings for lucky students wearing their red bracelets was sunglasses. The sunglasses symbolize "Violence is Bad, Learn to Keep Your Cool". In addition to the classroom drawings, Principal Alison Hansen drew names of students wearing purple. Lucky winners were Syndey Vincent and Isaac Bryson, they each received a giant purple pixy stick.
