Brockbank spotlights new staff members.

Mr. Lynn Hansen is the new speech therapist working with the students who have special needs. He and his wife live in Santaquin, and have three sons and one daughter. Lynn likes anything outdoors, fishing, anything that keeps him moving. He loves spending time with his family. Some of his favorites are the colors orange, purple, (or any color as long as it is bright), any sour candy, coke, books written by John Grisham, singer Tom Petty, John Wayne movies, St. Louis Cardinals, and eating anywhere they serve steak. Something not everyone knows about him is that he is the grandson of foster grandma Marie Hansen. Before coming to Brockbank, Lynn was at Santaquin Elementary for four years working as a Speech and Language Pathologist. We are so glad to have him at Brockbank!

Mrs. Laura Peck is a special education technician working in Mrs. Kristi Jensen's class. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork and have two sons and two daughters. Laura enjoys teaching, learning, reading, gardening, walking, and some crafts. Some of her favorites are the color lavender, dark chocolate, cinnamon bears,  classical music, dystopian novels (science fiction novels and stories), Mexican and Italian food, and watching romantic comedies. Her favorite vacation destination is camping in the mountains. Before coming to Brockbank, Laura was at Riverview for one year in their preschool, and five years at Mt. Loafer in their UEI unit. We are happy to have Laura at Brockbank and look forward to getting to know her better.

Mrs. Rebecca Jensen is the new planning time computer teacher. She and her husband live in Lake Shore and have one son and one daughter, both of which have attended or attend Brockbank. Rebecca likes running, reading, photography, and scrapbooking. Some of her favorites are the color pink, Mounds candy bars, lemonade, country western singer Martina McBride, the book, "To Kill A Mocking Bird", the movie, "Life is Beautiful", and eating at Café Rio. She likes watching football and her teams are the Cincinnati Bengals and the BYU Cougars. Something not everyone knows about her and she said shocks people is that she can't swim. Rebecca is no stranger to Brockbank before taking the planning time position she substituted here for teachers while finishing school at BYU. She has also been very involved as a PTA mom. We are excited to have Rebecca as part of our staff (officially)!
