Happy New Year, Brockbank Families!

We are excited for the 2016 year and know that there will be many fun things headed our way, here at Brockbank!

As we begin our new year, we will be watching the weather and especially the air quality. Please be assured that we will keep our students inside during recess if it is too cold or the air quality is poor.

Hello, Brockbank Families!

What a winter wonderland!  The children were excited with the snow today and we had fun watching it fall ALL DAY LONG!  We hope you will all be careful as you travel in this weather!  Please make sure your child wears warm clothing and has necessary outer ware as he/she comes to school!

We have a couple of fun programs this week; 3rd grade will have their program on Wednesday, at 12:30pm, and 2nd grade will have their program on Thursday, at 2:00pm.   We look forward to seeing the wonderful talent that our students have to share!

Hello, Brockbank Families!

This is a great time of year to think about patriotism and citizenship!  We look forward to our Veteran's Assembly and honoring those who have served our country.  At our last BFF Group Activity we were able to talk about what we need to do to be responsible citizens and how to make a difference in our community!

We want to thank all of those who came to SEP Conferences!  We appreciate your support and love celebrating your child's successes!

We also want to thank the PTA for the great job they did with the Book Fair!  It is a lot of work and it helps our school and your child get great books to read!

A Coding Camp was advertised last week, and we just want to remind you that registering for that is done online and not at the school. This should be a great opportunity for those who are interested!

Hello, Brockbank Families!

I hope you were able to have a wonderful Fall Break! It was nice to enjoy the fall weather and spend time with my family!

I have quite a few announcements so I will get started! Our Book Fair is going on this week! Thanks to our PTA for working so hard to bring this fun event to our school!

We are trying to be health conscience and aware of the food we eat. If you plan to send birthday treats or snacks for a whole class activity, please try to make it a healthy snack or even a non-food item. We appreciate your cooperation with this!

Hello, Brockbank Families!

Fall is quickly falling upon us! The mountains are beautiful this time of year and I hope you and your family are able to take a drive to see the changing colors of the leaves!  I have happy memories of  coming to school at Brockbank this time of year and bringing my teacher leaves that had changed colors!

With the change of weather in mind, please make sure your children have jackets and any other weather gear they may need!
