Kiwanis Terrific Kids

Brockbank Elementary is proud to announce our Kiwanis Terrific Kids for 2022-2023 school year. Fifth grade teachers pick two students from their class that represents the qualities of a “Terrific” kid which stands for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable. Brockbank's Terrific Kids; Luke Nichols, Lelynne Carter, Annie Olson, Kanyon Shepherd, Trey Hanks, and Claira Jensen.

Fifth Grade Students Participate in Freedom Walk

Monday, May 8th fifth grade students had the opportunity to attend and participate in the Freedom Walk held at the Canyon View Park. It was hosted by Spanish Fork's American Legion. Veterans from each of the branches were represented and told stories about their experiences to the students. This event was a great experience for the students to get a better understanding and appreciation for the Flag and the sacrifices made by everyone who has served in the military.

Robot Snails

Miss Jenny from UVU came May 1st and taught Mrs. Tara Farr's kindergarten about algorithms and then the kids got to create their own algorithm path for the robot snails to follow. It was so much fun learning about science!

Fifth Grade Visits Camp Floyd

Brockbank fifth grade students enjoyed a day at Camp Floyd making candles, adobe bricks, performing military drills, walking through the Sage Coach Inn, looking through the museum, spending time in a one room school house that was built in 1898, and learning what it was like to live during the Civil War.

Reading Challenge Winners

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days is sponsoring the 2023 Fiesta Day Reading Challenge to all Spanish Fork elementary students. To encourage students to read, Spanish Fork City promotes a Rodeo Reading Challenge. The goal is for students to read! Students that met their reading goal for the month of April got his/her name put in a drawing where one student from each grade won two tickets to attend the Fiesta Days Rodeo.
