Welcome Nate Holt to Brockbank

  I want to introduce Mr. Holt, who will be the new principal at Brockbank!  Although I am so sad to leave, I have been so excited to share with Mr. Holt the wonderful things about Brockbank!  He is so fortunate to come here and work with such wonderful students, families, and staff!  Here is a little bit about Mr. Holt!

Hello, I am Mr. Nate Holt. I am so excited to become a part of Brockbank Elementary next year. I have already met many teachers, staff, students and families and I know that Brockbank is going to be a place I can call home. 

I live in Payson with my wonderful wife and three kids. My wife is a teacher and we have loved working in Nebo and appreciate the educational opportunities Nebo offers our children. We enjoy spending time together watching movies, playing games, and playing in the water at Lake Powell. I also enjoy art and music.

Education has been important to me throughout my life. I have taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades and have spent the last 5 years working as a Title I Coordinator at Park Elementary. I have learned so much over my 15 years in education and know that I have so much more to learn. 

I hope to be a support to the staff at Brockbank as we strive to make the best educational environment for our students. I also look forward to working and associating with all of the wonderful families in our area. Educating our students starts at home and is continued at school. As a school, we will support you in any way we can at home and hope for your support at school. Working together, we can make the biggest difference in the lives of Brockbank’s awesome students.

As summer approaches and Mrs. Nelson hands the reins over, I want to let her know how wonderful she is. I know I have big shoes to fill. Brockbank has been so lucky to have her.
