Brockbank Elementary is happy to welcome some new faces to our staff this year, thirteen to be exact. Pictured is four of the thirteen.
Mrs. Leslie Ewell is our new Literacy Specialist / Instructional Coach. She lives in Payson with her husband and has 2 sons and 1 daughter. Leslie likes swimming, running, reading, hiking, camping, gardening and biking. Her favorite vacation destination would be to go to Europe. Something Leslie said no one knows about her is that she doesn't really like animals especially snakes! Before coming to Brockbank she taught fourth grade at Park View for 2 years. She has also taught second grade at Park View for 5 years and second grade at Brookside for 2 years.
Mrs. April Smith is teaching third grade this year at Brockbank. Her and her husband live in Springville, she has 1 step-son and 2 step-daughters. April likes to watch football and play tennis. She also likes playing the piano, hiking, spending time with her family and trying new things. Something April said no one knows about her is that she loves eating pepperoncini peppers! She said her sibings and her have contests to see who can eat the most at one time. Her favorite vacation destination is anywhere warm! She likes the color orange and listens to country songs.
Miss Kylie Haws s teaching fifth grade this year at Brockbank. She lives in Spanish Fork. Kylie likes riding her beach cruiser bike, knitting, collecting records, and watching old movies. Her favorite movie is, "Lord of the Rings". She likes the color mint green, tennis, the Utah Utes, and her favorite candy is Junior Mints. Something Kylie said no one knows about her is that she broke her back while on her high school senior prom date. Kylie's favorite vacation destination is Paris.
Mrs. Sara Stout is teaching sixth grade this year at Brockbank. She lives with her husband in Provo. Sara likes singing, sculpting, and making things. She likes the color green, Kit Kats, listening to Styx, soccer, and the Utah Jazz. Something Sara said no one knows about her is that she is obsessed with going to good live theater productions.Her favorite vacation destination would be Switzerland. Before coming to Brockbank, Sara taught sixth grade for one year at Barnett.
