This weeks Brockbank staff spotlights are Mrs. Linda Argyle and Mrs. Janet Miner. Mrs. Linda Argyle teaches third-grade at Brockbank. She shares a class with Mrs. Whitney Munns and teaches in the morning. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork and have three married daughters. Linda likes reading, hiking, yard work, gardening, watching U.S.U football, but most of all holding her granddaughter. Some of her favorites are the color green, Dove's chocolates, steak, seafood, historical and fiction books, the movie, "Toy Story", and any sport her kids are participating in. Linda's favorite vacation destination is to to Japan. Something she says no one knows about her is that last summer she went on a 4 day - 3 night backpacking trip in the High Unitahs. Linda is currently on her eighth year teaching third grade at Brockbank, before coming here she taught first grade for seven years at Monticello Elementary, and before that she taught third grade for three years at Provost Elementary in Provo. Linda is a great teacher and we are glad she is teaching here. Mrs. Janet Miner is special education technician in Mrs. Shelley Thomas' class. She and her husband live in Lake Shore. They have four sons, three daughters, and six grandchildren. Janet likes jewelry making and home improvements. Some of her favorites are the color blue, Snickers, pizza, listening to Beatles music, the movie, "Fools Rush In", the book, "A Boy Called It", BYU football, and eating at Olive Garden. Janet's favorite vacation spot is to go to Hawaii. Something she said not everyone knows about her is that she doesn't have a left earlobe. Janet has been a special education technician for the past 15 years before that she had an in-home daycare for 11 years. Janet is a very caring person and really cares about the students she works with. We are happy she is at Brockbank!
