Brockbank Staff Spotlights!

This week Brockbank is happy to spotlight Mrs. Peggy Rothaug and Mrs. Patty Bradford.

Mrs. Peggy Rothaug is our school librarian. Peggy and her husband live in Spanish Fork and have one son and two daughters. She likes quilting, reading (good thing since she is a librarian!), and singing. Her favorites are the color yellow, pizza, the movie, "Anne of Green Gables", eating at Los Hermanos, and the candy bar- Idaho Spud. Peggy likes any sport her kids are playing and loves watching them play. Something Peggy said no one would know about her is that she owns and shoots her own guns, but don't worry she never shoots animals just targets. She said she is actually a good shot. Peggy's favorite vacation destination is Montana. Peggy has been the librarian at Brockbank for the past four years, before coming to Brockbank she was a music technician at Foothills Elementary (a job she said she loved). Peggy has a degree in accounting, but we are glad she is putting that career on hold to be our librarian. The students love going to the library and having her read to them, or some other fun activity involving reading and books. Last year she held book clubs during her lunch hour to help motivate the students to read. Peggy always has a smile on her face and makes everyone feel welcome when they go into the library. We are so happy to have her at our school!

Mrs. Patty Bradford is a special education technician in Miss Alyson Tobler's class. Her and her husband live in Springville and have two sons and three daughters. Patty likes walking, camping, 4-wheeling, hiking, biking, and just being in the outdoors. She also enjoys scrapbooking, dutch oven cooking, food storage / preparedness, organizing, reading, canning, gardening, and playing with a group board games and cards. Her favorites are the color maroon, Snickers, Crystal Light Lemonade, the movie, "Princess Bride", and eating at Cafe Rio. She likes to watch ice skating and football, especially BYU. Patty's vacation destinations would be either somewhere in nature or on a warm Carribean Cruise. Something Patty said no one knows about her is that one year for Mother's Day she got a chain saw! Patty has been at Brockbank as a technician for 12 years, before that she was a stay at home mom, and before that she was a waitress and a BYU student. Patty is a great friend and is always willing to help out in a pinch when needed. The students in Miss Tobler's class love having her help them in class!
