Recently in the library, librarian Mrs. Peggy Rothaug, invited sixth-grade students to participate in a book trailer contest. The object of the contest was for the students to read books and to then share the books with friends and excite others to read their favorite books by creating a book trailer using powerpoint or movie maker. The trailer had to include important information about the book, the title, author, and the summary of the plot (without giving away the ending). Four students did such a great job on their trailers that Mrs. Rothaug couldn't pick a winner so it ended in a four-way tie. For doing such a great job and winning the contest the four students each received a gift card to Barnes & Noble to enable them to get a book and continue their love of reading. Great job girls!
