Hello, Brockbank Families!

I hope you had a great Fall Break!  It’s always nice to have some time to unwind and relax!

Thanks to those who came to Dads and Doughnuts!  It was great to see so many of you early in the morning, and it’s a great way to kick-off our Book Fair!

Book Fair:  This will take place from Monday, October 24-Thursday, October 27th, also during SEP Conferences.  There is a great selection of books, including picture books to cook books; There is something for everyone!   Thanks to Cristina Medina for her heading this up!

Reflections:  The entries were due today but we will accept entries until Friday.  We want to thank Cindy Shepherd for her hard work with this contest!

SEP Conferences:  These are scheduled for October 27th.  If you need to change your schedule or have questions or concerns, please call the office to make those changes.  We look forward to seeing you there!  ALSO, THERE IS SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, OCT. 28TH!

Halloween:  We have had questions about costumes for Halloween.  Students are welcome to dress up, however, we will not allow any costume that is bloody, gory or distasteful.  Masks are only allowed during the parade.  Face painting is allowed, but again, nothing bloody, gory or distasteful.   We will have our Halloween parade, beginning at 9:00 am and then at 12:30 for the afternoon Kindergarten.

Brockbank T-shirt and Hoodie Orders:  If you are interested in ordering a Brockbank Hoodie, or tee shirt, you can still order those.  There are order slips in the office or you can order at SEP Conferences.  These orders will be available until October 27th,  (SEP night) and then there will be no more ordering of tee shirts or hoodies.  These orders will be placed at the end of October.

Shoe Drive:  Miss Spanish Fork is sponsoring a shoe drive to send to people in Africa!  We would love to help her out!  If you can send shoes that are new or gently used, please bring them to the office by Nov. 11th.  Thanks!

Math Lab:  Our math lab is now available each morning!  We will open the doors to the library at 8:30, and we will have 2 technicians that will be there to help students with math homework.  Please take advantage of this help for your child!

Thanks for all of your help!  We appreciate all you do!

Mrs. Nelson
