Second Grade Drama

Submitted by brenda.johnson on
In late December and early January 2nd grade students made Paper Mitt Puppets and practiced retelling events from a charming picture book “Sweet Tooth” by Margie Palatini. Ask a second grader why Stewart got in trouble at cousin Charlotte’s wedding or what happened at the Easter Day Mishap! Students were delighted when their classroom teachers (Ms. Tobler, Miss Swyer, Mrs. Humphrey, and Mrs. Herman) got behind the puppet curtain and helped retell the story with them. Good job, everybody! If you have a sweet tooth, remember to brush, floss and eat healthy food – just like Stewart.
