For a few weeks, Brockbank third grade students have filled the halls of the school with cheery Christmas music. On Friday, December 17, the third grade classes put on a Christmas program for the rest of the students and then that evening for their parents and families to enjoy. It is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. The students did a great job!

First Grade Students Earn Polar Express Day

Submitted by brenda.johnson on
Brockbank Elementary first-graders got ready for the holiday season by having a Polar Express Day on Friday, December 17. They earned this day by meeting their classroom reading goals. Each first-grade class had to fill their Polar Express train car and in order to accomplish this, each student had to read at least six books. As a reward for meeting this goal, students got to wear pajamas to school, make Polar Express trains out of HoHo's, starlight mints, and chocolate bells, make engineer hats out of paper, and they got to watch the movie, "Polar Express".

Utah Mounted Thunder is a Cowboy Mounted Shooting club that hosted a benefit shoot at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Those that competed and were involved with the club donated toys and clothing as part of their entry fee. The much needed items went to benefit Nebo’s Brockbank Elementary students. A few of Brockbank's fifth-grade students came and helped put on the event.

Thank you for your generosity and thinking of our students.

Mayor Steve Leifson and his wife Cheryl came to Brockbank and provided a nacho bar for the faculty and staff. Steve and Cheryl have ties to Brockbank, their children attended Brockbank, Cheryl was in the PTA, and she was a kindergarten teacher. It is so awesome of them to think of us and share their Christmas Spirit!
