HELLO, BROCKBANK FAMILIES!
Thank you for your participation with our SEP Conferences! If you were unable to meet with
your child's teacher, please reach out to them. We want to make sure we celebrate all of our
students! We are so proud of them and all that they have accomplished during this interesting
year!
HELLO, BROCKBANK FAMILIES!
We look forward to meeting with you for SEP Conferences this week! Hopefully you have
received a scheduled time from your child's teacher, if not, please contact her.
These conferences will be held via ZOOM. Your child's teacher will send a link for the meeting.
Our teachers will be sending packets home that include your child's work and progress report
for you to look through. Please make note of any questions or concerns you have from these
packets.
January's BFF Lesson theme was Together We Rise as a Team!
I can statements: I can work as a team member.I can work in a group and help towards a common goal.
Spirit Assembly Watch Video includes Brockbank Bronco Best Students for the month of December.
KIDS have the power to make a positive difference. Please join the Kid Power committee at Brockbank Elementary to change the world. Our project this year is to help Shriners Hospital. Shriners serve children with medical needs regardless of their ability to pay.
Each grade is encouraged to bring money to donate. This is a friendly competition between grades, "Quarter War" to see who can get the most points helping Shriners Hospital.
How points work;
1 dollar = 100 points
1 quarter = -25 points
Wiley Westring, with the help of his nieces and nephews all of which either attended or currently attend Brockbank, donated a $500 check to Brockbank Elementary. Wiley, general manager of all the Fast Gas stations, sent in a nomination to the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance program nominating our school to receive the grant. We want to thank the Westring family. This generous donation will be used for science and technology.
