Friday, December 18,  Brockbank students had a special visitor come and read to them. Mrs. Santa Claus came and read to several classrooms. The students enjoyed the stories that she read to them.  

Brockbank Elementary first-graders got ready for the holiday season by having a Polar Express Day on Friday, December 18. They earned this day by meeting their classroom reading goals. Each first-grade class had to fill their Polar Express train car and in order to accomplish this, each student had to read at least six books. As a reward for meeting this goal, students got to wear pajamas to school; make Polar Express trains out of HoHo's, starlight mints, and chocolate bells; make engineer hats out of paper. That afternoon they got to watch the movie, "Polar Express".

Sixth grade orchestra students from Brockbank and Riverview presented a Christmas concert. Their instructor is Cheryl Wangsgard. All of the students did a wonderful job!

HELLO, BROCKBANK FAMILIES!
Happy Holidays! I just want to take this time and wish you all a Happy Holiday and a wonderful
New Year! I know many of us have been tried and tested with the 2020 year-it's been a tough
one-but I have to say that I have seen so many wonderful and amazing things happen this year!
Our students are incredible and have shown such resiliency to some hard situations! They are
great kids and I love them! I can't say enough wonderful things about you as parents! The

Brockbank is sponsoring a food drive. It is ending soon, if you have all ready donated "Thank You" if not you still have time. Last day to donate is Monday, December 14, 2020.

We have had a great time Decking the Halls with Christmas Spirit! We will put some fun
pictures on the web so you can see how Brockbank is turning into the North Pole!

THANKS, PTA!
We want to thank our PTA for hosting the online Book Fair! I hope you were all able to go
online and purchase some fun books from the Book Fair! This is a great fundraiser for our
school and we appreciate all that our PTA does to support us!

FOOD DRIVE

Students that met their reading goal for the month enjoyed a fun reading party. The students made joke cootie catchers and turkey cookies. 

Come make a side income while your children are in school, be off when the the children are (including holidays and breaks), and get your steps in for the day! Lunch is on us.

Starting wage $11.74/hr with opportunities for advancement. No experience required! Positions available districtwide.
