Hello, Brockbank Families!

I just want to express my appreciation for you and your child!  Brockbank is an awesome school because of the wonderful students and families!  Our teachers are so dedicated and our staff is wonderful!  Thanks for all you have done to support our school this year!  It takes a team effort to help each child become his/her BEST!   I wish you the very best this summer and hope you enjoy a nice summer break with your child!

Our Summer Office Hours will be:  Mondays-Thursdays-8:00-1:00.

Fifth Grade Students Attend Freedom Walk

Recently fifth grade students had the opportunity to attend and participate in the Freedom Walk held at the Spanish Fork Sports Park. It was hosted by Spanish Fork's American Legion. Veterans from each of the branches were represented and told stories about their experiences to the students. Fifth grade student, Wade Jones, said he liked hearing about the different planes that the Air Force used best.

Retirement Open House Held Honoring Kristi Jensen and Alexandra Dedrickson

Friday, May 4, an open house was held at Brockbank Elementary honoring two amazing teachers, Mrs. Alexandra Dedrickson and Ms. Kristi Jensen. These two ladies have touched the lives of many children throughout the years and will be greatly missed. We wish them both the best!    Kristi Jensen - Special Education Teacher,  Resource, Behavior Unit & Self Contained. Kristi has taught at Grant, Larsen & Brockbank.

Brockbank Sixth Grade Students Graduate From Elementary School

Wednesday, May 16, Brockbank Elementary held graduation for all sixth-graders advancing to Junior High School. Family and friends were invited to join the students in a in a diploma ceremony. To start off students shared their singing talents, after which each student was introduced by their teacher and given his/her diploma. Many of the students began attending Brockbank in kindergarten, and have many happy and fun experiences at our school. It will be hard to see these students leave for junior high, but we wish them the best. We will miss them next year! 

Brockbank Hershey Track Meet Winners

Brockbank students participated in the Hershey Track Meets with several students placing.

From 3rd grade; Gunner Frost placed 1st in both the  50 and 100 meter runs. Ellie Rich placed 3rd in both the 100 and 200 meter runs. Houston Farnsworth placed 3rd in the 100 meter run and 6th in the 50 meter run, 

Reading Challenge Contest Winners

Spanish Fork City is hosting the 2018 Reading Challenge Contest. Students that met their reading goal for the month of April got his/her name put in a drawing where one student from each grade won two tickets to attend the Fiesta Days Rodeo. Out of those students, 2 lucky students were drawn to receive not only the 2 rodeo tickets but a pair of Justin boots and a pair of wrangler jeans. Brockbank students read a total of 197,337 minutes for the month of April!
