The students have worked hard this past month reading and getting pledges. Monday, May 2, Brockbank PTA will hold a Carnival to help celebrate their successes! Even if you didn't return your calendar for the month or get any pledges you are still invited to come and have fun at the carnival. It is for all Brockbank students and their families! Wrist bands will be sold for $7 after school on Wednesday, before and after school on Thursday and Friday, and before school on Monday (CASH ONLY PLEASE). Monday night they will be $10 so get yours early!
Brockbank second-graders recently went on a Farm Field Day held at Harward Farms in Springville. Farm Field Days is sponsored by the Farm Bureau and allows second-graders to see how a farm works and to learn about different things in agriculture. First they got to see a sheep be sheared and then the students split up and went to different stations where they got to sit on over turned buckets. At the stations they learned about sheep growers, beef growers, pork growers, bee farmers, a petting zoo, mink growers, hand sanitation, dairy farms, chicken farms, and farm safety.
Hello, Brockbank Families

Brockbank Elementary participated today, Thursday, April 21, in the "Great Utah Shake Out" that was held throughout Utah, by holding a school wide earthquake drill. The purpose is make sure everyone is ready if a big earthquake hits the Wasatch Front. Brockbank believes it is important to be ready by having monthly fire, earthquake, or lockdown drills throughout the year. It is important to know what to do if anything were to happen, we want our staff and students to be prepared.
Hello, Brockbank Families!
This time of year is my favorite! I love seeing the blossoming trees and the tulips and daffodils in people’s yards. I also see dandelions and weeds pop out in my own garden, which means a lot of summer work for me! It’s a great time of year and the students are excited to be outside playing in the field and on the playground!
We have a lot of fun and exciting things going on, as the year winds down to an end! There are fun programs, field trips, and activities, so please check the bulletin below as well as the web site for details.

Spanish Fork is hosting the 2016 Wrangler Champions Challenge Rodeo again this year on Saturday, June 4 at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. To help promote the rodeo and at the same time to encourage students to read, the city offered a Champions Challenge Reading Contest. Students that met their reading goal for the month of March got his/her name put in a drawing where one student from each grade won two tickets to attend the rodeo. Out of those students, 2 lucky students were drawn to receive not only the 2 rodeo tickets but a pair of Justin boots.
