Spanish Fork is hosting the 2022 Fiesta Day Reading Challenge. To help promote the rodeo and at the same time to encourage students to read, the city is offering a Reading Contest. The goal is for students to read more this year than last year.
Students are reading the month of April so they can meet their reading goal to get his/her name in a drawing. One student from each grade will receive two tickets to attend the rodeo. Out of those students, 2 lucky students will be drawn to receive not only 2 rodeo tickets, but a pair of Justin boots, Resistol cowboy hat and Wrangler jeans. So keep reading!
We were lucky to have Trey Hanks, a fourth grade student here at Brockbank, come and show the students how to rope. Brylie Olsen helped too. She is fifth grade student and ropes in the junior 5th and under division.
