Hello, Brockbank Families!
We are off to a great start, here at school! Your children are doing so well adjusting to another year at Brockbank! They are so friendly and interact so well with their peers and adults!
I appreciate your support with the new drop off/pick up routes! The bus drivers are appreciative of having the area clear when they come through the parking lot. As you pull up along 300 West, please keep pulling forward so that no cars are left trying to get in and out of tight spots. I know this can be a hassle at times, but the more we can keep that area moving, the better the flow will be. We feel it is making a difference in keeping the bus zone a safe place.
Bronco Bulletin:
Please remember to sign up for PTA membership. You should have all received an envelope for a PTA membership donation. The PTA does so many great things for our school and the membership helps in having that support!
There is still a need for more room mothers, so if you can help out in your child's classroom, please let us know!
A message from our school nurse:
Vaccinated students (and school personnel) are more likely to stay healthy and at the top of their game in school, in sports, and in their social lives. Last year 8% of students were absent during flu season (October-March) with flu or flu-like symptoms. It is important that students are able to attend as many days of school as possible, as missed days can negatively impact learning. If most students and school personnel are immunized, then those that are not (some cannot for health reasons) can be protected through “herd immunity". We encourage everyone to get a flu vaccine this fall. To get a seasonal influenza vaccine visit your local health department or your regular healthcare provider.
