After the second week of collecting "Pennies for Patients" to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Brockbank students brought in another $476 with a total of the two weeks of $1392. The winning class for the second week was Mrs. Kristel Peterson's sixth-grade class. Three classes have brought in over $100 and have earned a Bronze Pennant- Mrs. Amberly Kariuki's afternoon class, Mrs. Lisa Bird's class, and Mrs. Carolyn Creer's class. There are four other classes really close to earning a Bronze Pennant and they are Mrs. Louise Crook's, Mrs. Janna Runolfson's, Mrs. Kristel Peterson's and Mrs. Stephanie Benson's classes. Mrs. Alexandra Dedrickson's fifth-grade class has earned the Bronze Pennant and is really close to earning the Silver Pennant with a $200 donation. There is only a couple more days to go so make sure you bring in your change. Contest ends Thursday, March 20, 2014.
