Gavin Jensen a former Brockbank student recently did his Eagle Scout project by making new book shelves for the library. Gavin worked with Brockbank's librarian, Mrs. Peggy Rothaug on getting a grant from the Nebo Foundation for the materials for the book shelves and the books to fill them. 'Gavin's neighbor, Brent Taylor, owner of Taylor Cabinets agreed to be his mentor on this project. Gavin along with the help of other scouts during the month of December assembled, sanded, and finished the book shelves. The first of January, Gavin and his group of volunteers came and helped the librarian rearrange the books to utilize the new shelves. Way to go Gavin!
