This weeks Brockbank staff spotlights are Mrs. Karolann Pace and Mrs. Marsha Parmenter. Mrs. Karolann Pace is a special education technician helping in Ms. Kristi Jensen's class. She and her husband live in Lakeshore and together have two sons and three daughters. Karolann's daughter Kylee is a fourth grader at Brockbank. Karolann likes to ride horses (she has 6 horses) with her family, watch Kylee do 4-H horse shows, shop, do crafts, crochet, sew, garden, camp, swim, read, play with her grandkids, and go on Pinterest! Some of her favorites are all colors, any and all chocolate candy, Mexican food, shrimp, lobster, dessert, diet coke, listening to country and old rock music, mystery books and children's books (she reads to her grandkids), the movie, "Princess Bride", and eating at Los Hermanos, Mi Ranchito, and Red Lobster. She likes watching basketball and her teams are the Utah Jazz and BYU. Karolann's favorite vacation destination is to go anywhere where it is warm and tropical. Something she said no one knows about her is that she flew in an airplane to California the first time when she was only two days old! (Wow!) She said she has loved to fly ever since! Karolann has been a technician in Ms. Kristi Jensen's class since the first of January, before that she worked at a hotel for 20 years. She started as a housekeeper and ended as an executive that took care of everything behind the scenes. Karolann said she loves spending the day with the students in Ms. Jensen's class and we love having her at Brockbank. She is a great addition to our staff! Mrs. Marsha Parmenter is a planning time technician and teaches computer skills and she also does recess duty. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork and have four sons, two daughters, and two grandchildren. Marsha likes quilting, reading, and traveling. Some of her favorites are the color green, chocolate covered blueberries, grilled salmon, the song, "Christmas Shoes" song by New Song, the book, "Lord of the Rings", the movie, "Walk in the Clouds", baseball, and eating at Gloria's Little Italy. Marsha's favorite vacation destination is to go to Disney World. Something she said not everyone knows about her is that she has been at Brockbank since the original pilot program was started at Brockbank 15 years ago. Before coming to Brockbank, Marsha was a stay at home mom. Marsha always has a positive attitude and takes her job seriously, we are so glad she is here at Brockbank!
