HELLO, BROCKBANK FAMILIES!
Happy Holidays! I just want to take this time and wish you all a Happy Holiday and a wonderful
New Year! I know many of us have been tried and tested with the 2020 year-it's been a tough
one-but I have to say that I have seen so many wonderful and amazing things happen this year!
Our students are incredible and have shown such resiliency to some hard situations! They are
great kids and I love them! I can't say enough wonderful things about you as parents! The
support we have felt and the appreciation for education is unreal! Our staff is one in a million!
They have been thrown plenty of curve balls and they have rocked it! They are amazing people
and I love working with each one of them!
I want to wish you all a very Happy Holiday and hope that this break gives you time together
as families and friends to celebrate the wonderful things in life!

QUARTER WARS!
Our Kid Power Student Council Committee will begin Quarter Wars starting January 11th, to
earn money for Shriners Hospitals. Start saving quarters to help children who need medical
assistance! More info will be coming!

LOVE AND LOGIC PARENTING WORKSHOP

Nebo School District is presenting a Love and Logic Parenting Workshop! This will be online-
via ZOOM! The workshops will be January 12th, 19th and 26th, from 6:00-7:30. There is more

information on the attachment given.

A FEW REMINDERS
*We are having quite a number of students that are forgetting their masks. Please make sure
your child has a clean, cloth mask each day when he/she comes to school.
*Please remember that if you bring lunch to your child that you need to bring lunch just for
your child. With this pandemic, we cannot share pizza, or other lunches.
*Please have your child only bring water in his/her water bottle. Please do not send juice, pop,
or Gatorade.

STUDENT SAFETY
Thank you, parents, for following the laws and for driving slowly and carefully when picking up
your child. I see parents slowing down and being considerate of other drivers while picking up
students.
Please also be aware of the following:
*Please do not flip a U-Turn on 300 West. In the morning or afternoon, there are too many students that are walking and crossing the streets, and too many parents driving in and out of the school grounds, that this is an unsafe practice. Please follow the laws!

*Please cross at the intersections and do not have your child cross with you in the middle of
the road. Please be an example of safety!
*If you park in the parking lot, please get out of your car and go and wait for your child so
he/she is not crossing alone in front of buses and cars.
