Hello, Brockbank Families!

Thanks so much for all you are doing! I appreciate the help you are giving your children and I have loved seeing them through their communication with their teachers! Please continue to reach out to us or to your child's teacher if you need help or support! We have some resources today that will hopefully help you in helping your child!

We worry about our students and their emotional and mental health. For our little ones, it is hard to help them understand what is going on and I'm sure they are feeling frustrated at times. Please reach out to our counselors if you feel your child needs extra help.

We will continue with our At Home Learning as usual and will plan to go up until May 22nd, which is the last day of school. Students will be able to keep chrome books until that date. We will let you know about returning them and picking up your child's personal items soon!

FIESTA DAYS RODEO READING WINNERS!

We are excited to announce the winners of our Fiesta Days Rodeo Reading Contest Winners! These students' names were drawn from all those that reached their grade level reading goal! The winners are:

1st Grade: Jamie Bradshaw

2nd Grade: Aleeah Bott

3rd Grade: Alex Coe

4th Grade: Lydia Mendenhall

5th Grade: Dominick Diaz

All of these students won tickets to the Fiesta Days Rodeo and Alex Coe and Lydia Mendenhall were the Grand Prize Winners and received Justin Boots, Levis and a hat! Congratulations to all of our great readers!

We also want to thank Spanish Fork City for sponsoring this event that encourages our students to READ! Our combined total minutes from this reading challenge was 174,839 minutes!

School Closure-Counseling Services

If you feel that your child needs extra support and needs someone to talk to, our counselor, Terri Jensen, is available to help you with that! Below is a flyer with information!

The Yucky Bug

This story is a great resource for you to share with your child. It is a story about what is going on in our world, told from a child's perspective. It talks about Covid 19 in children's terms and may be easy for your child to understand. Please preview it, then watch it with your child if you think it will be helpful! There are also some great resources at the end of the story.

Click on the link below, then look for the purple line, "The Yucky Bug-Let's Watch" to start the story!
