We want to keep your child reading! Summer reading loss is real! Research has proven that the impact of summer reading loss can be significant.

The  more time a child spends reading, the better reader they become. So the best thing you can do for your children is to read to them, reading with them,  and providing them opportunities for more reading. Do not make reading a chore...you GET to read not you have to read!

So to help motivate your child to read this summer we want them to join in our "POP" After Summer Reading Party!  Students who read at least 4 times a week and a minimum total of 960 minutes over the summer will be invited to participate in out POP into Reading Party at the beginning of the new school year. Enjoy all things that POP! Popcorn, Popsicle, bubbles that pop, and balloon games. Fill out the calendar that was sent home or print a new one and bring it back to your new teacher next year!
