Congratulations to Mrs. Alexandra Dedrickson for receiving "Brockbank's Teacher of the Year". Alexandra teaches fifth grade at Brockbank. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork. They have three daughters, one son, and four grandchildren (with one more on the way).

Alexandra is an awesome teacher. She loves teaching and it shows. She goes the extra mile in her teaching. She has a great sense of humor and makes learning fun! Her theme days are talked about by former students years after being in her class.    In her spare time Alexandra loves shopping, making homemade cards, watching her son run track and cross country, but most of all spending time with her family! She combines two of her loves by shopping for her grandkids! At Brockbank Alexandra is considered our "Christmas Elf". She is obsessed with Christmas including watching all the Hallmark Christmas movies.     Alexandra has been teaching for 33 years, 22 of those years here at Brockbank. She also taught for 11 years at Brookside before coming to Brockbank. She has taught first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades and for nine years she helped students as a reading recovery teacher. She is a great teacher and so fun to work with!  She is retiring at the end of the school year and she will be greatly missed!
