Hello, Brockbank Families!
We have some really fun things to look forward to, for the month of March! Last week we were able to have our BFF activity and learn about priorities. The students talked about things they need to do and things they want to do. The students watched a cool video that showed an example of how you "fill" your life with doing important things first, then the things you want to do will fit fight in!
I want to apologize for some errors that I have made on the last couple of Bulletins! I'm sorry if it has caused you some uncertainty! I will try to double-check my work better! Thanks for you patience!
We are excited about our new Buddy Benches that have been installed on the playground! We appreciate your support in purchasing them and getting them in! They are such a nice addition to our playground. The idea of these benches is for students to go there when they are feeling alone and have no one to play with. When other children see them on the bench, they can go and invite them to play.
This week we look forward to the Book Fair coming to Brockbank! We want to thank the PTA for setting this up! It takes a lot of work and our PTA makes it so nice! The first day of the Book Fair will be Friday, March 11th, and will run until Thursday, March 17th. We'll start the week off right with Dads and Doughnuts on Friday, the 11th! Again, we want to thank the PTA for sponsoring this fun event! That will be from 7:30-8:30 am.
Thursday, March 17th, will be our last SEP Conference. We look forward to celebrating all the accomplishments your child has made! Your child's teacher will be sending home a note with your assigned scheduled time. Please indicate whether or not the time will work for you, then send that portion back to school with your child. If the assigned time does not work for you, your child's teacher will send you a new time.
Friday, March 18th, there will be no school because it is a PC Comp day, so enjoy the day with your child!
Kindergarten Registration will be Wednesday, March 23rd, from 7:30-4:00. Please spread the word that this is happening so we can get an accurate count of students who will be coming to Brockbank. Please check the Brockbank web page for details!
Just a reminder that Spring Break will be April 4-8!
